The Lindenwood women's basketball team (9-7, 6-3 GLVC) will travel to Rockhurst (9-6, 5-4 GLVC) on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. tip off in Kansas City, Mo. The Lions are looking to continue their momentum after a 73-60 win over GLVC opponent Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Mo on Thursday night.

Julia Ruzevich now leads the team in rebounds with a season-total of 190 and posts the highest average as well with 11.4 per game. The Ozark, Ill. native put up another double-double on Thursday night, making this her 11th time doing so this season.
Ruzevich had an impressive 23 rebounds and 26 points against the SBU Bearcats and keeps inching closer to breaking that 1000-point mark with every game.
Devin Fuhring was another game-leader against the Bearcats, putting up a solid 15 points, which included a couple crucial three-pointers in the Lions victory. Fuhring leads the team in three-pointers with 24 total and is second behind
Gracie Neff (76) with 44 total assists.
Two more big threes in Thursday's game came from
Alana Striverson and
Paige Craft, two first-year Lions who continue to be steady contributors when given their chances. Emily Benzswchawel also brought energy off the bench, knocking down nine points to put her on the game leaderboard behind
Ellen McCorkle's ten. After Saturday, Lindenwood will be back in Hyland Arena on Monday, January 31 for a 5:30 p.m. home game against the USI Eagles.
