The Lindenwood men's ice hockey team (1-7-0) remains in Massachusetts this weekend and will take on Bentley (1-4-0, 0-0-0 AHA) in a two-game series. Game one on Friday is set for 6:05 p.m. CT, while puck drop in game two is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. CT.
 
The Lions dropped both games of the series against AIC last weekend by a score of 5-0 before falling in the series finale, 5-3. In the second game, Caige Sterzer and Ryan Finnegan scored on the penalty kill, while David Gagnon lit the lamp on the man advantage as special teams was a factor once again. Lindenwood now has three shorthanded goals this season, which ranks tops in the country.
 
Gagnon leads the team in points nine and is tied for tops on the team with four goals on the year. The Halifax, Nova Scotia native has tallied three powerplay goals this season and has been a key cog on a Lindenwood man advantage that has been converting at a 28 percent clip on the year
 
Roni Salmenkangas had a strong game in the series finale, making 54 saves in game two, which was a season-high. The native of Finland has compiled a .920 save percentage in a pair of starts this season.
 
Bentley enters the weekend with a 1-4-0 record. The Falcons dropped both games last week against No. 16 Ohio State by scores of 9-2 and 3-1, respectively. Cole Kodsi and Matt Gosiewski are the top returners for Bentley.
 
Bentley finished last season with a 14-20-2 record and were picked to finish eighth in the Atlantic Hockey (AHA) preseason poll. The Lions have played two AHA squads so far this season in Air Force and AIC, holding a 1-3-0 record in those games.
