The Lindenwood men's soccer team (3-10-1, 2-5-0 SL) fell to St. Thomas (3-10-1, 2-3-1 SL) by a score of 2-0 on Saturday afternoon from St. Paul, Minn.
GAME OVERVIEW
The Tommies netted the first goal of the game 11 minutes in, grabbing an early 1-0 lead. Lindenwood pushed back, generating the next three shots on goal, but each were denied by the keeper. In total, Lindenwood compiled four shots, and two corner kicks in the first half, but trailed 1-0.
The score remained 1-0 in favor of the Tommies for the majority of the second half, as the defensive effort was strong.
Zachary Flax recorded his second shot on goal in the game, which came in the 71st minute, but it would be St. Thomas who added on, netting the second goal of the game in the 87th minute to seal the 2-0 victory.
