On Wednesday, the Lindenwood men's wrestling team (1-3) lost to the Bellarmine University Knights in a closely contested bout by a final of 23-15 in Louisville, Ky.

Overview
The Lions would take the first three points of the night, coming from junior Austin Kegley at 125-pounds, winning by a decision of 12-10. The Lions would lose the second bout by a decision of 7-2 but quickly retook the lead from a Kalen Napier win at the 141-pound weight class, winning by a decision of 11-7.
The Knights would take the next two matches by major decision and forfeit, putting them in the lead by 10 points. Gavin Londoff would close the deficit to four points, winning by a decision of 6-4 at the 165-pound weight class. The Knights would take the seventh match, winning by a major decision. The Black and Gold would win two out of the last four matches coming from sophomore Austin Raynor winning by a decision of 7-4 and sophomore Ryan Golnick winning by a decision of 5-2. The Lions would lose the final two matches by pin.
