The Lindenwood men's basketball team (4-6) will be back in action after a two-week break from competition. The Lions will host Knox College (2-9) on Saturday inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo. for a 1:00 p.m. tip.
Lindenwood last played on December 3 when the Lions fell to Kansas City on the road by a margin of 61-47.
Kevin Caldwell Jr. posted 12 points with four assists, while registering three rebounds. The Lions earned a 103-56 win over East-West just three days prior in Hyland Arena.
Caldwell Jr. is leading the team with 14.8 points per contest, while dishing out a team-leading 37 assists on the year.
Chris Childs has knocked down 21 three pointers through his first 10 games, as his 14.6 points per game and 26 assists each rank second on the squad.
Keenon Cole (54.9),
Cam Burrell (52.2), and
David Ware (51.0) have efficiently scored points by leading the team in field goal percentage. Cole and Burrell are each scoring 10.8 points per night. Ware has pulled down a team-best 5.9 boards per game, while Burrell has one less rebound on the year for an average of 5.8 rebounds per night.
Lindenwood will play its final non-conference home game on Saturday, before hitting the road for a pair of games in Utah to close out the non-OVC slate. The Lions open OVC play on the road at Eastern Illinois on December 30, and will host Tennessee Tech on New Year's Eve in St. Charles, Mo.
