GAME OVERVIEW
Mercyhurst got off to a strong start to begin the series, taking a 4-0 lead in the first period.  Lindenwood settled down and took advantage of a Mercyhurst penalty in the second period.  After Jada Burke won the faceoff in the offensive zone, Maddison Stitt fed Thea Jørgensen at the point for the power play goal.  The Lions were able to kill off two penalties in the process, as they went into the third period down 3-1.
