The Lindenwood men's basketball team (11-14, 7-10 GLVC) lost in an offensive battle on Saturday to Missouri-St. Louis (18-6, 12-5 GLVC) by a final of 92-75 in St. Louis, Mo.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Triton jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first five minutes of the game, with the help of six buckets in the paint. The lead amassed to 32-11, but the Lions clawed back before the end of the half.Â
Kevin Caldwell Jr. knocked down a three-point shot at the 8:12 mark to make it a 16-point game. Inside the five-minute mark, Caldwell Jr. tallied another three pointer to bring the game to 39-28. Missouri-St. Louis closed out the first half with a 48-32 lead.

The Tritons continued its efficient offense into the second half, but the Lions continued to fight back.Â
Romelo Burrell registered a four-point play to bring the deficit within 11 points. Less than two minutes later, Burrell made a jumper and the free throw, bringing the Lions within eight points. At the 15:20 mark, Burrell hit a jump shot to make it a 57-51 ballgame.

Lindenwood and UMSL scored in waves, as the game teetered back-and-forth. Near the end of the half,
Brandon Trimble hit a pair of free throws to make it a 78-71 margin, but the Tritons began to pull away. The Lions went cold on the offense end, as Missouri-St. Louis took advantage and secured the 92-75 win on Saturday.
