The Lindenwood women's basketball team (11-15, 8-11 GLVC) struggled to generate offense against one of the best teams in the league on Saturday in a 68-42 loss to Southern Indiana (22-4, 16-2 GLVC) in Evansville, Ind.

GAME OVERVIEW
The buckets were not falling from the start, as the Lions tallied eight points in the first quarter. Lindenwood was down just seven points after the first 10 minutes of play, but the Screaming Eagles picked up the pressure in the second frame. Southern Indiana held a 27-12 advantage at the half, as neither team shot over 28 percent from the field in the opening half.

Both squads began to find success in the third quarter, however, the gap continued to grow. Southern Indiana closed out the game with a 26-point victory, generating a significant amount of points in the paint.
