Men's Lacrosse Grabs Victory at Alabama-Huntsville

The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team defeated the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers 12-6 in Alabama on Saturday afternoon.

OVERVIEW
Although the Chargers netted the first goal of the game just three minutes in, the Lions cleaned things up and answered back with a goal from Patrick Kaschalk with just under six minutes to go. The Chargers would score again late in the period, but with under a minute left, Oisin McTigue would force a Huntsville turnover that would ultimately to a scoring chance for JP Morris, who tied things back up going into the second.

The Lions scored first to open up the second when Cam Smith got on the board off the assist from Kaschalk. Huntsville would score later on to even out the score once again, but Kaschalk would regain the lead for the Lions, making it 4-3 before half.

The third period consisted of Keese Zugehoer, Nolan Corker, Adrian Thompson and Dylan Colon all getting on the board with a goal each. Then to round out the game, Corker, Kaschalk (2), and Smith each contributed fourth-period goals.

Kyle Hebert ended the day with nine total saves and a .600 save percentage, while Colin Hunt led the way defensively with six ground balls on the day. Hunt, Jordan Nalls and McTigue each caused three turnovers, sharing the top spot on the leaderboard in the category.
