The Lindenwood men's volleyball team swept Quincy in three sets on Saturday in Quincy, Illinois.
OVERVIEW
The Lions won the first set 25-19, with
Jeremy Kirch and
Diego Negron each tallying six kills to lead the way for Lindenwood. Defensively, the Lions totaled four blocks and held Quincy to zero.
The second set went to Lindenwood by a final score of 25-21. Negron recorded seven more kills, and led the way with three more digs, bringing his total to six overall.
Connor Sheehan contributed 12 assists, bringing his total to 23 going into the third.
Lindenwood took the third set 25-17, dominating the court both offensively and defensively. Negron finished the day at 19 total kills, while Kirch was next in line with 14 overall. Sheehan posted 36 assists to end the day, while
Phil Swartz recorded a strong 21 receptions. Negron also had the most digs of the day with 8 total, while Kirch and
Cal Werths each tallied three block assists, putting them atop the leaderboard for the Lions.

The Lions will host Lincoln Memorial on Friday to begin their play in the Lindenwood Invitational in Hyland Arena at 7:00 pm.
