The Lindenwood women's hockey team hits the road for the second-consecutive series, this time taking on No. 3 Wisconsin in a two-game set. Puck drop from La Bahn Arena is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

The Lions dropped both games against Bemidji State this past weekend by scores of 3-2 and 6-3, respectively, with the first game being an overtime defeat. The youth was the story against the Beavers, with all five goals score by Lindenwood coming from a freshman or sophomore.

Morgan Neitzke earned CHA Forward of the Week honors for her efforts against Bemidji State. The Jackson, Mich. native compiled four points on three goals and one assist across the two games. Neitzke has recorded 19 points (6 G, 13 A) across 31 games.
Ryann Perrett and
Sarah Davies also scored goals in the series. Davies, a freshman from Mississauga, Ontario registered a goal and two assists in two contests.

Wisconsin and Lindenwood will meet for the 24th and 25th times, as the Badgers hold a 19-4 overall advantage in the series history. Last season, the Badgers and Lions met twice with Wisconsin earning a pair of victories in Maryland Heights, Mo.

Wisconsin enters this week ranked No. 5 in the country and are coming off a series split with then No. 14 Penn State. The Nittany Lions took game one, 4-1, while the Badgers took game two, 9-1. The loss was only the second non-conference loss for UW since 2009.

Lindenwood will be looking for its first win over a ranked team under head coach
Shelley Looney, and its first since the 2017-18 season when they defeated No. 10 St. Lawrence 5-4 on January 5, 2018.
