Today the Lindenwood men's wrestling team traveled to Little Rock, Ark., to face the Little Rock Trojans. The Lions fell to the Trojans by the score of 49-0, dropping the Black and Gold's record to 1-8 in match play and the Trojans to 3-4.

Overview
In the Lions match versus Little Rock, the Lions faced four wrestlers ranked in the top 60 in the country in their respective weight divisions. The Trojans capitalized on points from four pins, three technical falls, two decisions, and one major decision. In the two extra matches of the night, Freshman Jared Shafer won his match over Warren Hoyt by a decision of 11 to 4, and Senior Zac Russell won his bout by pin against Tanner Mendoza.
