With, #15/13 Ohio State in their review, the Lindenwood men's ice hockey team are prepared to face off against the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, Friday and Saturday October 20th and 21st. Friday's game will be held at 7:07 p.m. and Saturday's is slated for 6:07 p.m.
The Lions have demonstrated how impressive they are as a cohesive unit. During the series with Ohio State, Lindenwood only conceded six goals, while scoring four of their own. The final meeting on the ice between the two led to a tied score of 2-2.
Down by two entering the final period, the Lions never faltered in their game strategy; instead, they remained locked in and determined. In the third minute of the period, Kyle Jeffers recorded a goal on a pass from Joe Prouty. In the 17th minute, Jake Southgate and Kabore Dunn sent the puck spinning into perfect position for an Austin Fraser goal.
Drew Kuzma and Southgate are going into the weekend pacing the Lions with four-points each. Kuzma's points are made up of three goals and one assist, while Southgate's is one goal and three assists. Jeffers and Dunn are right in the mix with three-points each. Jeffers has one goal and two assists and Dunn has three assists.

St. Thomas enters the weekend 1-3 after defeating #8 St. Cloud State 5-4 in overtime before dropping game two 1-0. Last weekend, St. Thomas dropped a heart breaker to the #2 University of Minnesota 5-6 in overtime on Friday evening and 3-0 on Saturday evening.
