ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood women's ice hockey team is back in action, taking on RIT on the road to start off conference play. The games will be held on October 27th at 4:00 PM CT and October 28th at 12:00 PM CT in Rochester, N.Y. All games will be hosted at the Gene Polisseni Center. 

The Lions are currently 3-5-0 on the year. In their last two matchups, the Lions fell 5-0 to #13 St. Cloud State, and were victorious over Sacred Heart by a score of 4-2. Morgan Neitzke leads the Lions in points with 11. Neitzke on October 23rd was named as the CHA forward of the week for the second time this season. Sarah Davies is second on the team in points with six, Gigi Pora and Rachel Goff are tied for third on the team in points with five. Natalie Ferenc has remained as the number one goalie for the Lions. Ferenc on the year, has made 216 saves in just 7 appearances. As a Lion, Ferenc has made 1147 stops and counting. 

The Lions will meet up against RIT for 44th time in program history. The Lions are currently 20-16-7 against the Tigers, with the Lions picking up a 4-3 win in their most recent affair (February 11, 2023). The Tigers are currently 4-3-2 on the season, picking up 2-1 loss to #11 St. Lawrence and a 2-1 win over Union. The Tigers have five individuals tied for the most points on the team with. Sarah Coe has made seven starts for the Tigers in net, making 222 stops on 15 goals against.
