Lindenwood women's volleyball continues their home stretch with two matches against Ohio Valley Conference opponent Little Rock on Friday and Saturday. The Lions lead the all-time series 2-0 after taking both matches in Little Rock, Ark. last season.

Last weekend, the Lions split two matches against Morehead State at Hyland Arena. Lindenwood took match one on Friday in four sets, but the Eagles came back on Saturday and picked up a 3-1 victory. LU had split all four weekend matches this season.

Little Rock is currently ninth in the OVC standings with a 3-6 conference record. The Trojans picked up two of their three OVC wins last weekend against Tennessee State at home, Both wins came in four sets.

The Lions were picked to finish seventh this season in the OVC during the preseason voting. Little Rock was picked to finish in ninth place to begin the year after completing their first season in the OVC last year.

Weekend Recap
Lindenwood has not lost a weekend series yet this season, and that was no exception last week. The Lions split their two matches after Morehead State came to town. Both teams won a match in four sets.

On Friday, Lindenwood women's volleyball  took their opening match against the Morehead State Eagles by a final score of 3-1. The Lions had a balanced attack on offense with five players over eight kills.

Lindenwood played a tough four sets on Friday earning their sixth Ohio Valley Conference win of the season. Addy McAleer led the way with 12 kills on a .206 hitting percentage. She also had nine digs. Rebecca Janke was also solid in the middle picking up nine kills, three aces and three blocks.

Saturday, the rules were reversed as the Eagles took four sets to defeat the Lions. Freshman Anna Kraemer had a career day with a season high 12 kills and a .440 hitting percentage. She led the team in both categories while adding two blocks. 

Nyah Wilson picked up her sixth straight match with double digit kills (10) while also posting her 10th double-double of the season (10 kills, 15 digs).

Kraemer sparked the Lindenwood offense on their way to their lone set win in the second 25-20. She had four kills in the set while hitting .800. Lindenwood as a team had 14 kills in a back-and-forth set that saw 13 ties and five lead changes. LU also had three blocks in the second.

OVC Top Ten
Jessie Seidel has been one of the best liberos in the conference ranking fifth in digs per set with an average of 4.67. Last weekend, she posted a career high 32 digs against Morehead State. She also has the fourth most digs in the OVC (392).

Rebecca Janke has been a force in the middle this season leading the Lions with a hitting percentage of .295. She also ranks eighth in the OVC in the category. Addy McAleer's 2.94 k/s average ranks 10th. Her 247 kills is also ninth in the conference.

Allie Otten's 6.70 assists per set ranks eighth in the OVC while her 563 assists is seventh. She leads a setter group that ranks fourth in the OVC in assists per set with an average of 11.79.

Player To Watch
Otten is having a great fifth year in the Lions program with 563 total assists this season. Not only has she been great on offense, but her defensive ability has also sent a charge in the defense.

She has 11 double-doubles this season with assists and digs. In the country, she is tied for fifth in double-doubles and is one of 16 players to have over ten.
