In their last contest on Sunday, the Lions fell to Dayton by a score of 91-73. Lindenwood has now scored 70 or more points in both games this season. Hitting that plateau was something the Lions did on only three occasions last season. Lindenwood is averaging 76.5 points per game, tied for the most in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Ellie Brueggemann paced the Lindenwood offensive attack against Dayton, scoring 15 points and making four shots from beyond the arc. The Owasso, Okla. native has now scored in double figures in both contests. The freshman guard leads the team in scoring (13.5 PPG) and minutes per game (27.2).

Six different Lindenwood players made a three pointer on Sunday, as the Lions made nine as a team, shooting 37.1 percent from deep in the loss.

Once again, the bench played a key factor against the Flyers, scoring 36 of the 73 points. The reserves have accounted for 43.1 percent of the teams scoring so far this season.
Alyssa Nielsen compiled nine points and five rebounds off the bench on Sunday, while
Mykayla Cunningham added seven.

Mary McGrath had a game-high 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including four makes from three-point range.
