The Lindenwood Lions haven't played a single home contest this season, but it is finally time. Coming off a bye week, the Lions are ready to get back to the ice. This weekend, they will host the Vikings of Augustana University (SD).  
 
Lindenwood has played four series this season, with Michigan being their most recent opponent. While in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Lions faced stiff competition from the national ranked Wolverines resulting in the only sweep Lindenwood has conceded this season. 
 
The Augustana Vikings are in their first year as a NCAA Division I program and enters the weekend holding a 3-4-1 overall record. The Vikings dropped their opening two games to Wisconsin, 4-0 and 3-0, before sweeping Bowling Green 3-2 and 4-1. Augustana and Denver ended regulation and overtime tied, however, the Vikings were able to win the shootout.
 
Ryan Naumovski leads Augustana in points with six, after playing in eight contests. He doesn't lead in goals (2) but he does lead the team in assists with four. Currently, there are six players on the AU team that has tallied five points. Hunter Bischoff's three goals leads the category for the team.
 
Jake Southgate leads the Lions with six points, with three goals and three assists. Kyle Jeffers has also made his presence known, recording five points for two goals and three assists. Drew Kuzma is another notable for Lindenwood as he has accumulated four points in five games (three goals and one assist). In the net for the Lions is Trent Burnham, who has started and played in all eight of Lindenwood's contests. Recording 285 saves and conceding 33 goals has netted Burnham a .896 save percentage and 4.42 GAA. Matthew Syverson made two appearances in the net for Lindenwood and recorded 21 saves, while conceding four goals. Syverson has a .840 save percentage and 5.56 GAA.
