Women's Basketball Heads to Bradley on Saturday

The Lindenwood women's basketball team (0-5, 0-0 OVC) is set to travel to Peoria, Ill. for a matchup with the Bradley Braves (2-4, 0-0 MVC). Tip-off from the Renaissance Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
 
In their last game on Wednesday, the Lions fell to Central Arkansas 77-64 inside Hyland Arena. Mya Skoff led the squad with a career-high 12 points in 19 minutes off the bench. Makayla Wallace was the other Lindenwood player who registered double figures in the loss.
 
Skoff was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. As a team, the Lions shot 78.9 percent from the charity stripe, their best mark of the season.  The Bellevue, Neb. native was one of 10 Lindenwood players to record 10 or more minutes of game action in the loss. Through five games, 11 players are averaging double figure minutes per contest.
 
So far this season, Lindenwood's reserves are averaging 27.2 points per game, which ranks 49th in the country. Bench players have chipped in 30 or more points on three different occasions during the year, including Wednesday night against Central Arkansas.
 
Lindenwood forced a season-high 18 turnovers against the Sugar Bears which led to 16 points. The Lions are a +2.6 in the turnover margin category, which ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference.
 
Bradley is coming off a loss to Butler on Wednesday. The Braves are led by Kaylen Nelson who averages 15.6 points per game, Lindenwood will play two-straight home games following this matchup. The Lions will take on Eastern Michigan on December 7 and Harris-Stowe on December 11 for Education Day.
