The Lindenwood women's basketball team (0-6, 0-0 OVC) is set to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles (1-5, 0-0 MAC) on Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. inside Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lions are coming off a 63-56 loss to Bradley last Saturday.
Ellie Brueggemann paced Lindenwood with a game-high 20 points, which included four makes from beyond the arc. The Owasso, Okla. native is currently averaging 15.2 points per game, which ranks fourth in the OVC. The freshman guard has registered double figures in five games this season.

In the game against the Braves, the Lions forced a season-high 27 turnovers. Those 27 turnovers are the most Lindenwood has caused in a game since November 27, 2017 when St. Louis College of Pharmacy had 28 against the black and gold. Lindenwood tops the Ohio Valley Conference with a +3.83 turnover margin so far this season.

Brueggemann led the team with five steals as Lindenwood compiled a season-high 13 in the loss. So far this season, the Lions are averaging seven steals per contest, with Brueggemann and
Makayla Wallace each averaging just over one per game.

Gracie Kelsey provided a spark off the bench on Saturday. The freshman forward poured in a career-high 15 points in just 19 minutes of action. She was also a stalwart on the defensive end, pulling down four rebounds and blocking three shots.

Last season, Eastern Michigan defeated Lindenwood 71-56 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
