ST. CHARLES, MO. - The Lindenwood women's basketball team was dropped their final game of the season in a 50-64 final score on Saturday afternoon in Hyland Arena.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Lions were unwavering by their highly-ranked opponents, matching them point for point throughout the first 10 minutes of play. Lindenwood shot a strong 7-15 from the floor, appearing confident on their home court.
Devin Fuhring looked especially strong, kicking off her senior day with a fantastic first half of shooting. The graduate senior knocked down a team-leading 13 total points to get things rolling on her senior day, while also grabbing two rebounds and adding three assists throughout the first half.
Lindenwood would trail by just a mere four points, with the scoreboard reading 28-32 heading into halftime. The second quarter was dead-even statistically, with both teams compiling 50% field goal percentages. The Trojans did go 0-2 from outside the arc, however, while the Lions knocked down two of their four three point attempts in the second, gaining the edge there.
The Trojans knocked down 16 more points in the third quarter, but the Lions were right behind them with 14 more points, ending the third quarter still right on the heels of the number one team in the conference. The scoreboard read 42-48 heading into the final quarter of play, appearing to be a tighter race to victory than Little Rock was anticipating.
The fourth quarter was where things got difficult for the Lions, however, with Little Rock holding them to just eight more points before the final whistle blew. The Trojans were able to tally 16 more points on the Lions, turning up both their offensive and defensive presence for the last leg of the race.
