The Lindenwood men's tennis team opened the season with a 7-2 loss to No. 7 WashU in Creve Coeur, Mo.
OVERVIEW
The pair of victories for the Lions came in doubles as
Anton de la Puente and Carlos Rodrigues won their match 8-6 as the No. 1 pair. The second duo to pull off a victory in doubles was Alonso de Prada and Martin Paz who also picked up the 8-6 victory.
In singles, Lindenwood dropped every match with the closest being de Prada who fell in three sets. After winning the first set 6-4, he lost the second and fell in the deciding third by a 10-7 score.
