On Saturday, the Lindenwood men's lacrosse team face-offed against Mercer in the Lions final regular season game. The Lions would drop their matchup to the Bears 12-8
Overview
The Bears started off the game with the first two goals. The Lions would remain scoreless in the first quarter, with the Bears leading 2-0 going in to the second quarter. Mercer would started off the scoring in the second frame.
Ryan Kemp would get the Lions on the board breaking the first quarter scoring drought. After Kemp's goal the Bears would rebound scoring one of their own. The Lions would go on a four goal run to take 5-4 lead going into halftime.
In the third quarter, the Bears would score five times and the Lions would score once. The Bears would lead 9-6 going into the final frame. In the fourth, the Lions would score two times while the Bears would score three times.
Blake Nolan started in net for the Lions making eight saves.
