ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood women's soccer team (1-2-0, 0-0-0 OVC) will take on Murray State (1-3-0, 0-0-0 MVC) in their fourth game of the 2023 season on Thursday, August 31st, for a 12:00 p.m. start time at Hunter Stadium.
The Lions are coming off a win in their recent matchup, where they defeated Chicago State 4-2.Â
Mia Corrigan leads the Lions in goals with two after a two-goal effort against Chicago State. Three Lions also have at least one goal on the season, which includes
Maggie Weller,
Anna Johnson, and freshman
Mattie Ohlsen. Weller leads the Lions in shots with four, and three individuals are tied for the most shots on goal with three.
Erika Anstine and
Karsen Kohl are tied for the most minutes on the team with 180. Anstine has the most saves on the team with eight on six goals against.

Lindenwood will meet Murray for the second time in the Lions relatively short history in NCAA Division I. The Racers won the last matchup 3-1 versus the Lions, on September 11
th, 2022. The Racers currently sit 1-3-0 on the year and were picked fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll. Â On the season, the Racers have scored three goals and given up seven. Leading scorers for the Racers include Mary Hardy who has two goals on the season, and Grace Bodker with one goal. Griselda Revolorio and Jenna Villacres have split time with one another in net. Villacres has two more starts than Revolorio, and has played in all four games, making twelve saves on five goals against, and playing an overall 254 minutes. The Racers are coming off a 2-0 win over Jackson State.
