The Lindenwood women's basketball team (3-12, 1-4 OVC) welcome Eastern Illinois (6-12, 3-2 OVC) to Hyland Arena for a 1:00 p.m. tip on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions will be looking for their second win of the week after defeating SIUE, 79-73 on Thursday night. All three of Lindenwood's wins this season have come at home. In the victory over the Cougars, the Lions had four players in double figures, led by
Alyssa Nielsen with 16.

Those 16 points from Nielsen were a career-high as the Bixby, Okla. native shot 8-of-12 from the field, while also grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out three assists. Over the last three games, the freshman forward has shot 72 percent from the field (18-25).

Justis Odom added 15 points in just 23 minutes as the transfer center went 7-of-8 from the charity stripe, while adding four field goals. Those 15 points were her second-highest total of the season.

On Thursday, the Lions had 18 assists, their second highest total in a game this season.
Makayla Wallace paced the squad with six assists, tying a season high. Overall, Lindenwood made 30 field goals and shot 50.9 percent from the field for the game.

Mykayla Cunningham continues to provide a spark off the bench as she stuffed the stat sheet against the Cougars. The freshman combo guard finished the night with 11 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals. She has now scored in double figures in five of her last seven games.

After this game, Lindenwood will return to the road for a pair of games against Little Rock and UT Martin next week.
