The Lindenwood women's basketball team (3-13, 1-5 OVC) returns to the road on Thursday for a matchup with Little Rock (5-12, 4-2 OVC) Tip-off is set for 11:30 a.m.
 
The Lions are coming off a tough 68-60 loss to Eastern Illinois in their last time out. Lindenwood led 58-52 with just over four minutes to go in the game, but the Panthers closed the contest on a 10-2 run to earn the victory.
 
Mykayla Cunningham provided a spark off the bench in the loss, tallying a career-high 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting. She also added three assists and two steals to her stat line. The Salina, Kan. native has registered double figures in her last three games and four of the last five.
 
Lindenwood had 11 offensive rebounds in the game, five pulled down by Justis Odom. Over the last week, the junior center averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 90 percent from the charity stripe. So far this season, Odom is averaging 3.3 boards per game, which leads the team.
 
On the defensive end, Lindenwood forced 24 Eastern Illinois turnovers, which resulted in 25 points. Ten of those turnovers came in the third quarter, which allowed the Lions to outscore the Panthers 21-14 in the frame. This is the fifth time this season that Lindenwood has forced its opponent into 20 or more turnovers in a game.
 
The Lions only committed 10 turnovers of their own in the game, their second lowest total of the season. The black and gold have a +3.56 turnover margin so far this season, second best in the OVC.
 
After this game, Lindenwood will head to Martin, Tenn. for a matchup with UT Martin on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
