The Lindenwood men's tennis team fell 7-0 to the Illinois State Redbirds on Wednesday afternoon.

In doubles, Bernardo Henriques and Rodriguez Gonzalez dropped their match 7-5 to Emiliano Gonzales and Tin Ostro. Mattis Lamm and Nathan Matsuguma fell 6-0 to Tom Bevan and Arvid Hjalte, while Alonso De Prada and Fernando Martin Paz fell 6-3 to Caden Scarlett and Tomas Valencia.

In singles, Gonzalez succumbed 7-5 and 6-0 to Nam Pham, Henriques fell 6-3 in both sets, Matsuguma dropped his sets 6-2, 6-7, 10-1. De Prada fell 7-5, 2-6, 10-6 to Gonzales, Martin Paz dropped his match to 6-1 and 6-0 to Ostro. Lamm wrapped up the singles competition, falling 6-2, 6-2 to Valencia.

Lindenwood will compete at the University of North Dakota at 4:00 pm on February 3, 2024.
