OXFORD, OHIO. – On Saturday evening, men's ice hockey (2-3-0) took on Miami of Ohio (2-3-2, 0-0-0 NCHC) in game two of two versus the RedHawks. The Lions would fall to the RedHawks 4-1, moving to 2-4-0 on the season.
GAME OVERVIEW
In the first period, Miami would notch the first goal of the game, 5:30 into the frame, to take the early 1-0 lead. With 50 seconds left in the frame,
Drew Kuzma would notch his first goal of the season, on a back-handed shot, to tie the game up at 1-1. Kuzma's goal would be assisted by
Jake Southgate and
Joe Prouty. After a period of play, Lindenwood would be tied 1-1 with the RedHawks. In the frame, Lindenwood had ten shots on net.
Owen Bartoszkiewicz made eight stops in the period.
