COOKEVILLE, TENN. – On Thursday afternoon, women's soccer took on Little Rock in the OVC Tournament Semifinals. In a low scoring affair, the Lions would win 1-0 over the Trojans, and will advance to the OVC Championship for the first time in program history.

In the first half, the Lions would outshoot the Trojans 10-7.
Caroline Ritter made three saves in the first frame of play. In the 37
th minute,
Georgia Pardalos would break the 0-0 tie, after lasering a shot past the goalkeeper, for her third goal of the season. Pardalos' goal would be assisted by
Maddy Vasiloff. After a half of play, the Lions would lead 1-0.
In the second half, Little Rock had some early chances, but could not find the back of the net. The Lions would hold the Trojans scoreless, resulting in the Lions winning 1-0 over the Trojans. In the half, the Lions would outshoot the Trojans 7-5 in the final frame of play. Ritter would only have to make one save in the half for a total of four on the afternoon. Ritter would also record her eight shutout of her career and of the 2024 season.
