PREVIEW
Lindenwood is looking for a win over the Morehead State Eagles, to be crowned OVC Champions. This will be the first time in program history the Lions will play in the OVC Championship. The Lions are looking to continue their offensive success in the championship match after scoring on average 2.5 goals per game in the last two matches.
 
This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams, and the first meeting in OVC Tournament play. Lindenwood has never beaten the Eagles, going 0-2-1 against the Eagles. In the last meeting between the two teams, Lindenwood tied Morehead State 1-1 at home (October 17, 2024).
 
Morehead State won their match semifinal match versus Tennessee Tech in penalty kicks, winning PK's 3-0. Morehead State is seeking their fifth ever OVC title, with their most recent title coming in 2023. Hedda Ornberg leads the Eagles in points with 20, and goals with nine. Erin Fite leads the Eagles in assists with five. Anna Lohrer has played the most minutes for the Eagles, compiling 1901 minutes across 21 games.
