Men's ice hockey (3-12-1) travels to the Cornhusker State, taking on the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks (6-8-0).

LAST TIME OUT
The Lions were swept by No.1 ranked Michigan State. In game one, the Lions trailed early, giving up two goals in the first period, and would fall to the nationally ranked Spartans 4-0. In game two, Lindenwood would give up a goal in the first and third period, losing to the Spartans 2-0.

PREVIEW
Lindenwood looks to find the win column after dropping their last three games. Lindenwood is currently 36th in the country in scoring defense (2.88) and last in scoring offense (1.75). The Lions are looking to capitalize on strong goalie play against the Mavericks.
 
This will be the first and second meeting between the Lions and Mavericks.
 
Omaha is also looking to get back in the win column after dropping their last game against St. Cloud State 5-2. In conference play, the Mavericks are 4-4-0, picking up two wins against Miami of Ohio, and one against Arizona State and St. Cloud State. Omaha sits 20th in the country in scoring defense (2.43) and tied for 41st in scoring offense (2.50). Sam Strange leads the Mavericks in points with 11 and is also tied for the most goals on the team with Zach Urdahl, with seven. Jacob Guevin leads the Mavericks in assists with eight. Simon Latkoczy has played in 13 out of 14 games in between the pipes for Omaha, registering a 6-7-0 record. Latkocy has made 387 stops on 29 goals against, for a save percentage of .930, and a goals-against average of 2.33, for the Mavericks.
