Football Inks 11 During Early National Signing Day

Lindenwood football head coach Jed Stugart announced the addition of 11 early signees from the high school ranks during the early signing period on Wednesday.

"Signing day is always one of the greatest days of our year," said Stugart. "It's always exciting to build upon the future of our program.  Most importantly, the talent we were able to sign in and around the footprint of Lindenwood.  This class reflects that and no doubt we believe brightens up the future of our program."

2025 Lindenwood Signees

Ke'Andre McClendon | DL | 6-2 | 245 | East Saint Louis HS | East Saint Louis, Ill.
Ke'Andre comes from one of the best high school programs in the country at East Saint Louis. He was a two-time Illinois State Champion with the Flyers and a four-year letter winner. McClendon was a 2024 All-State selection at defensive line. His brother, Kobe is currently with the program.

Reece Satterwhite | DL | 6-2 | 260 | Owasso HS | Owasso, Okla.
Reece is a four-year letter winner at Owasso High School in Owasso, Okla, where he also earned a single digit. Satterwhite has been a dominant force on the defensive line during his time at Owasso. His team will play for the State Championship on Friday.

LaRavious "Fresh" Woods | RB | 5-9 | 195 | East Saint Louis HS | East Saint Louis, Ill.
LaRavious comes to Lindenwood with his teammate Ke'Andre McClendon where he led the Flyers to multiple appearances at state. Woods rushed for over 800 yards this past season. In 2024, Woods compiled 23 touchdowns and 1,123 all-purpose yards. He is rated as a 2-star prospect via 247 sports.

"We are very excited to have Larevious "Fresh" Woods joining our RB room," said running backs coach Lane Lawson." Coming from one of the best HS programs in the country, we fully expect Fresh to carry over the passion, toughness and physicality that is produced at East St. Louis.  His passion for the game is contagious, and has the skill set to match. His feet and vision are a scary combination. We see Fresh doing some great things as a Lion. "

Carter Briddell | OL | 6-3 | 285 | North Point HS | Wentzville, Mo.
Carter is a 2-star offensive lineman from North Point High School in Wentzville, Mo. Briddell has been a unanimous first-team all-conference selection in each of the last two seasons and will join his teammate Hoyt Gregory Jr. in the 2025 class.

"Carter has a high football IQ and has played a multitude of positions up front," said offensive line coach David Flores. "He is a physical/nasty player that will help us win. Carter continues our tradition of recruiting the best from the St. Louis area."

Connor Cook | OL | 6-9 | 335 | Omaha North HS | Omaha, Neb.
Connor is a big offensive lineman standing at 6-9 who is rated as a three-star prospect by six star football. He was a three-sport athlete at Omaha North High School who will big physical presence up front.

"Connor adds a big, physical presence to our Offensive Line," said Flores. "Connor is a smart player who gives us the length we need at the tackle position. He plays very physical and is a student of the game."

CJ Bennett | WR | 5-7 | 175 | East Saint Louis HS | East Saint Louis, Ill.
CJ is an explosive wide receiver from East Saint Louis where he helped lead the Flyers to a State Championship during his senior season where he accounted for 344 Yards and 5 Touchdowns in 4 games.

"CJ Bennet is a walking touchdown with elite explosiveness," said wide receivers coach Brandon Johnson-Farrell. "His speed and shiftiness make him a threat to score from anywhere on the field. Coming off an outstanding SR season, CJ helped lead his team to an Illinois Class 6A State Championship accounting for 344 Yards and 5 Touchdowns in 4 games. We will look to utilize CJ's skillset in a variety of ways on Offense as well as Special Teams as a Returner. We can't wait to get CJ in Black and Gold making plays for the Lions on Saturdays."

Hoyt Gregory Jr. | QB | 6-3 | 215 | North Point HS | Wentzville, Mo.
Hoyt comes to Lindenwood after an outstanding career at North Point High School where he was the 2024 GAC Player of the Year and a first team all-conference selection. During his senior season, he totaled 3,177 yards and 34 touchdowns. He is rated as a 2-star prospect via 247 sports. Gregory joins his high school teammate Carter Briddell in the 2025 class. His dad, Hoyt Gregory Sr. was inducted into the Lindenwood Hall of Fame in 2018 and was a two-time All-American with the Lions.

"Another great local talent joining our roster," said Lawson "He had a stellar career at North Pointe HS where he continued to raise the bar each season. Hoyt can do it all, great touch on deep balls, arm strength to fit into any window, and can also run by you. The leadership and passion he has for this game is exactly what we look for in recruits, we are fired up to have Hoyt joining our family!"

Aiden Grote | TE | 6-5 | 245 | Bowling Green HS | Bowling Green, Mo.
Aiden is a big physical tight end from Bowling Green, Mo. During his senior season, he was named EMO Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was a unanimous first team selection at tight end. He is rated as a 3-star prospect via six star football.

"Aiden is a big physical TE that can block at the point of attack!," emphasized t Hight ends coach Mark Goldenberg. "He is also extremely athletic with the ability to make plays in the passing game. I believe he will be a difference maker on offence and help propel Lindenwood to the heights that we strive for as a program!!"

Carter Johnson | LB | 6-4 | 210 | Waukee HS | Waukee, Iowa
Carter was a first team All-State selection during his senior year at Waukee High School. This past season he compiled 56.5 tackles, including seven for loss, while registering one interception and one fumble recovery. He was also a team captain. Johnson is rated as a 3-star prospect via six star football. In the classroom, he was an academic All-State honoree.

Luke Zook | DB | 6-1 | 190 | Yorkville HS | Yorkville, Ill.
Luke comes to Lindenwood from Yorkville High School in Yorkville, Ill. He is a two-time first team All-Conference selection at safety and a two-time All-State wrestler. Zook joins his brother, Andrew as a member of the Black and Gold.

Brogan Hartmann | K/P | 6-2 | 175 | O'Fallon Township HS | O'Fallon, Ill.
Brogan comes to Lindenwood from O'Fallon Township High School in O'Fallon, Ill. He is rated as a 4-star kicker and punter via Kohls and is a three-time all-conference selection at his position.
