Women’s Ice Hockey Drops Second Matchup to RIT 4-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – On Saturday, women's ice hockey (3-13-1, 2-5-0 AHA) took on RIT (8-7-3, 3-3-1 AHA) in game two of the weekend. The Lions would fall 4-2, after jumping to an early 2-0 lead. After the matchup, Lindenwood moves to 3-14-1 on the season and 2-6-0 in conference play, while the Tigers improve to 9-7-3 and 4-3-1 in conference play.

GAME OVERVIEW
In period one, Lindenwood would jump to an early 1-0 lead, scoring 47 seconds into the contest. Molly Henderson would score Lindenwood's first goal of the contest, tipping in a pass from Ellie Muscedere. Lindenwood would hold the 1-0 lead till the end of the period. In the frame, Lindenwood had 11 shots on net. Catherine Hodgins made five stops in the period.

In the second period, Lindenwood would find the back of the net first at 5:43 into the frame. Lindenwood's second goal of the contest, would come from Quinn McLaren wrist-shot.
