ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood men's basketball (8-17, 2-10 OVC) drop their final game of a four game homestand against Tennessee Tech (8-17, 3-9 OVC) by a final score of 52-63 in overtime. The Lions were held to just 28.6% shooting, their second lowest of the season.

Kyle Gerdeman. "I feel for our guys. They have been working hard to make a push, and tonight offensively we just weren't good enough to get it done. We've got a big challenge in front of us the rest of the way, I'm looking forward to seeing how we attack it."
Keenon Cole earned his fourth double-double of the season after posting 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. It was a tough shooting night for the Lions including Cole who went 7-22 from the field.
Darius Beane hit the equalizer with 2.1 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Beane had 10 points while shooting 2-13 from the field while going a perfect 6-6 from the field. As a team, LU went 14-17 from the charity stripe.
The Lions started out on fire going on a 14-0 run to start the game including two threes by
Jeremiah Talton and
Tommie Williams. Lindenwood ws held to 1-15 for the rest of the game behind the arc. LU started out 6-8 from the floor.
Tennessee Tech chipped away at the lead throughout the first half, going on a 14-3 run after Lindenwood's opening 14-0 start. The Lions went scoreless from the 7:48 mark all the way until the end of the half. TTU's Bogdan Zimonjic hit a three to tie the game at the half 23-23.
Lindenwood shot 29.6% in the first half while going 5-6 at the line. The Golden Eagles scored 14 of their 23 points in the paint in the first half. They shot 37.0% from the floor in the first half. They also had 11 bench points in the first.
The Lions' offense continued to struggle starting the second half 1-7 from the floor while TTU was 3-10. Cole started to find his stroke in the second half giving LU the lead back 31-29. The Golden Eagles found a spark after a lob pass led to a Josiah Davis layup. Davis ended the game with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Lindenwood found themselves down five with two minutes remaining before Beane hit his first field goal of the game to cut the lead to three. Williams then got the steal on the next possession and laid it in in transition to cut the lead to one.
After a Flagrant I foul was called on Williams on a contested rebound, LU found themselves down two. Beane then hit a jumper with 2.1 seconds left to send the game to overtime. TTU ended the game on a 14-5 run in overtime to secure the win.
Jaylon McDaniel had nine points for Lindenwood in his return to the starting lineup. Williams and
Isaac Ondekane also had seven points each in the loss. Lindenwood was held to 2-10 shooting in the overtime period.
