The Lindenwood men's ice hockey team is preparing for their final road trip of the 2023-24 season against the Stonehill Skyhawks. The Lions and Skyhawks have already met once this season, with Lindenwood earning a sweep.

After their first series, January 26^th and 27^th, the Lions traveled to Arizona to face-off against #17 Arizona State University. In Friday's (February 2^nd) contest, Lindenwood and Arizona State ended in a 4-4 tie and ASU won Saturday's game 5-1.

Scoring for the Lions on Friday were Kyle Jeffers (Joe Prouty and Mitch Allard), Patrick Schmiedlin (Jake Southgate), Ethan Zielke (Caige Sterzer and Zach Aughe) and Caleb Price (Jaeden Mercier and Sterzer).

Saturday's goal came from the stick of Southgate, with Mercier and Sterzer earning the assist. Trent Burnham and Matthew Syverson each had a turn between the pipes for Lindenwood. Burnham recorded 10 saves, while Syverson tallied 14.

In their previous meeting against Stonehill, the Lions skated to a 7-1 victory (Friday night) and 6-5 overtime win on Saturday. During the series, Aiden Yakimchuk recorded Lindenwood's first NCAA Division I hat trick.
