Baseball Falls 2-1 to Southern Illinois Salukis

The Lindenwood Lions fell short 2-1 in their home game against the Salukis of Southern Illinois University.

Lindenwood's Dawson Hokuf landed a single into left center field, earning the RBI when Colin Shea rounded the bases in the bottom of the ninth. LU finished with one run on four hits.

Michael Walsh pitched six innings for Lindenwood, recorded the loss after allowing one run on four hits. He also recorded three strikeouts.

The Lions will be back in action this weekend in a three-game series against the Blazers of the University of Alabama Birmingham.
