The Lindenwood Lions faced the Bradley Braves on Saturday evening, winning 5-0. Eli Brown took the win for LU on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings and only giving up three hits.
The Lions scored once in the bottom of the first and second innings and three in the bottom of the eighth. A sacrifice fly from Bryson Arnette scored Kam Edwards in the first. In the second, Tyson Ludwig grounded out to the third baseman allowing Mitch Cummins to score.
In the eighth, a double by Dawson Hokuf and James Jett speeding from second added one run for Lindenwood. Logan Stevens' double pushed Hokuf in for another LU run and finally Ethan Abercrombie singled down the right field line to score Stevens.
Lindenwood finished with five runs on nine hits and no errors. The Lions will face the University of Nebraska Omaha at noon and Bradley at 3:00 pm tomorrow.
