The Lindenwood baseball team fell 16-4 to the Racers of Murray State University in seven innings.
The Lions scored two runs in the top of the first inning, Murray State responded with three runs. In the top of the second, Lindenwood scored one run and their final run came in the top of the seventh.
The Racers scored four in the second, seven in the third and two in the fifth. Dawson Hokuf singled up the middle to score Kam Edwards and Colin Shea. In the second, Evan Funkhouser stole home. The final run came on a single by Jack Meyer through the left side to score Logan Stevens.
Zach Buschschulte took the loss for the Lions on the mound.
