ST. CHARLES, MO. – On Sunday afternoon, the Lindenwood women's soccer team took on the Kansas City Roos. The Lions would fall 3-0 to the Roos, moving to 2-2-0 on the season.

OVERVIEW
In the first half, The Roos were able to strike first. The Roos would find the back of the net off a rebound, in the 25^th minute. In the 40^th, the Roos would find the back of the net once again off a rebound, extending their lead to two. After a half of play, Lindenwood would trail 2-0. In the half, Lindenwood would be outshot 9-7.

In the second half, Kansas City would find the scoring column three minutes into the frame off a broken play. With 42 minutes left to go in the match, Lindenwood would trail Kansas City 3-0. Kansas City's stout defense would hold the Lions scoreless in the match. Lindenwood would outshoot the Roos in the half 8-6. After the final whistle, Lindenwood would be tied at 15-15 in shots. Kansas City would have 12 shots on net, while the Lions had four.

Jordan Hollingsworth would make the start in net, making four saves. Caroline Ritter would relieve Hollingsworth in the latter part of the match, making one save.
