CHICAGO, ILL. – On Thursday, the Lindenwood women's soccer team took on the DePaul University Blue Demons. The Lions would be held scoreless in this affair, falling 2-0 to the Blue Demons, and moving to 4-4 on the season.
GAME OVERVIEW
In the first half, the Blue Demons would get on the board early, coming from the Lions scoring an own goal in the 11
th minute, giving the Blue Demons a 1-0 lead. For the remainder of the frame, both teams would be held of the scoresheet, with the Blue Demons leading at halftime 1-0. The Blue Demons outshot the Lions 3-1 in the frame.
Georgia Pardalos would have the lone shot in the frame for the Lions.
Caroline Ritter made one save in the half. The Lions would have the 3-1 advantage in corner kicks in the half.
In the second half, both teams would be held off the board until the Blue Demons scored in the final minute of the frame, extending their lead to two. DePaul would outshoot the Lions 8-0 and have the 2-1 advantage in corner kicks in the half.
Jordan Hollingsworth relieved Ritter after one half of play, making two saves.
