The Lions are looking for the win column for the second straight week. In the month of January, the Lions are 1-3-0. Lindenwood has won all their games on Friday this season.
 
This will be the third and fourth meeting between the Lions and Vikings. Lindenwood is 1-1 all-time against Augustana. In the last meeting (Nov. 11, 2023), the Lions defeated the Vikings 5-3 at home.
 
The Vikings are 12-7-1 on the year and 5-3-0 in conference play, sitting in second place in the CCHA.  In their last series played, Augustana swept #8 Colorado College, defeating the Tigers 5-1 in game one and 3-2 in game two.
