About RIT
RIT sits in fourth place in the AHA with seven conference points. Both of their wins in conference play have been on the road at Syracuse and Robert Morris. The Tigers are led by Junior Forward Addie Alvarez who has four goals and four assists in 10 games played. Alvarez's four goals is tied for the team lead with teammate Linda Rulle, who also has four goals scored on the season. Among the Tiger's goaltenders, Sophia Bellina has a GAA of 1.83 in eight games played ranking second in the AHA among goaltenders. Bellina is first in the AHA in save percentage with a .937 as well.

Last season, RIT swept the Lions including an OT thriller by a score of 4-3 in Maryland Heights. The Tigers have beaten the Lions in five straight matchups dating back to December 6, 2024, but the Lions will look to flip the script this weekend in Rochester, New York to pick up their first conference win of the season.
