DEFENSE: The Lions have allowed just 16 goals in 17 matches (0.94 per game), which is second fewest in the OVC. Caroline Ritter ranks third in the OVC with a .822 save percentage and leads the conference with nine clean sheets.

WINNING THE WHISTLE: Lindenwood has drawn 188 fouls this season while conceding a conference-low 116, creating a steady advantage in set-piece opportunities.

ALL-CONFERENCE: Five Lions were selected to OVC All-Conference teams, which were announced on Wednesday afternoon. Mackenzie Compton, Tasneem Dizdarevic, Rachel Jackson, and Allison Schrumpf were all named to the second team, while Alysse Lamb was selected to the All-Newcomer team.

• SIUE is 3-11-5 on the season, finishing seventh in the OVC before advancing to the quarterfinals in dramatic fashion with a penalty shootout win over UT Martin on Thursday.
• The Cougars have scored 14 goals on the season while allowing a total of 39, giving them the fourth worst margin (-1.31) in the conference.
• Savannah DeFini leads SIUE in scoring with seven points on three goals and an assist.
• Goalkeeper Sarah Bozeman leads the OVC with 97 saves. She has a save percentage of .740 with five shutouts on the season.
