Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Women's Hockey team was swept for the second time during conference play last weekend against Robert Morris. Zsofia Pazmandi scored the Lions first goal of the series 11 seconds into Friday's contest to immediately get on the board. However in the second period, the Colonials scored twice to take a 2-1 lead heading into the third period. Josey Dunne-Weeks scored a power play goal in the third period to tie the game at two and sent the game to Overtime. After no goals were scored in the extra period, the game headed to a shootout which was the first game this season in which the Lions went to a shootout. Robert Morris scored on their second and third attempts during the shootout to grab two points in the AHA standings. On Saturday, the Colonials jumped the Lions in the AHA standings moving into fourth place with a 3-0 shutout victory over Lindenwood.
