Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Men's Basketball team picked up win number one of the season on Thursday, defeating UHSP by a score of 116-51. Robert Lewis led all scorers with a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds, while six different Lions scored in double figures. Mekhi Cooper and Clayton Jackson were among the six who scored in double figures, as the duo each recorded their first career double-doubles in the victory over the Eutectics. Cooper scored 10 points on 3-5 shooting and added 10 assists, while Jackson scored 13 points and had a career-high 11 assists. Both Cooper and Jackson join Milos Nenadic and Robert Lewis in the double-double category in 2025-26, marking the first time that an OVC team has had four different players record a double-double through the first two games of a season in over 20 years.

Jadis Jones and Anias Futrell made their season debuts against UHSP as well. Futrell knocked down four threes and finished with 18 points, while Jones shot a perfect 5-5 from the field and sunk six of his seven free throw attempts to finish the game with 16 points.

Scouting the Billikens
Saint Louis enters the matchup with the Lions at 2-0 overall. The Billikens defeated OVC opponent SEMO in the season opener followed by a win over Chicago State. Both of Saint Louis's wins have come inside of Chaifetz Arena. The Billikens are led by the 6-10 Senior Center Robbie Avila, who is averaging 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and is shooting 50% from beyond the arc through the first two games of the 2025-26 season. Last season, Avila was a Second team All-Conference selection in the A-10 and led all centers in NCAA Division I in 3-pointers made per game (1.8) and assists per game (4.0). As a team, Saint Louis is averaging 100 points per game and is shooting 51.2% from the field in their two games played.

The contest with Saint Louis on Monday night will be the first all-time meeting between the two squads.
