On Tuesday afternoon, the Atlantic Hockey America Conference released their latest Women's Hockey Players of the Week. On this week's list was Junior Forward
Zsofia Pazmandi, who recorded four points in two games in the weekend series against Bemidji State.
The native of Kaposvar, Hungary had two assists in the Lion's 7-4 win over the Beavers in Friday's matchup and followed that performance on Saturday by scoring both of the Lions goals as well as scoring the game-clinching shootout goal to lift Lindenwood to their first shootout win of the season. Pazmandi has five multi-point games so far this season, which leads the 2025-26 squad. She also leads the team in goals scored with seven, while also leading the team in points with 14 (7 G, 7 A). Pazmandi becomes the third skater from Lindenwood to win an AHA Player of the Week award joining teammates

The Lions will return to the ice this weekend as they will travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on Mercyhurst in their final AHA series of 2025. Puck drop on Friday is scheduled for 4 p.m.
