Women's Volleyball Adds Two on National Signing Day

The Lindenwood women's volleyball team has announced the addition of two student-athletes following last month's National Signing Day. The Lions will welcome Lauren Ortwerth and Valyn Donahoo to next year's squad.

Ortwerth, and outside hitter from St. Louis, joins the Lindenwood program following a stellar career at Cor Jesu Academy, where she finished as the school's all-time kills leaders. She was an All-State and First-Team All-District selection while also being named Conference Player of the Year. She played club volleyball for High Performance St. Louis.

"Lauren is a great all-around volleyball player", said Lindenwood head coach Will Condon. "She can impact the game offensively, defensively, and with her ball control. She is the volleyball equivalent of the five-tool player".

Donahoo is outside hitter from Norman, Oklahoma, where she was a second-team All-Conference selection at Norman North High School. During the 2025 season, she posted 274 kills on a .214 hitting percentage while leading the state with 90 service aces. She played club volleyball for Charge 18 UA.

"Valyn is a dominating physical presence, can hit anywhere on the net, and someone who has an appreciation for how the game works", said Condon.

Lindenwood recently concluded the 2025 season after qualifying for the OVC Tournament for the fourth consecutive season.
