On Friday, the Lindenwood football program announced a game with FBS Eastern Michigan for next season. The Lions are slated to take on the Eagles on September 26, 2026.

This will be the first meeting between the two schools. EMU finished the 2025 season with a record of 4-8 and 3-5 in the MAC.

The Lions concluded the 2025 season with a 6-6 record and a 5-3 mark inside OVC-Big South play.
