Lindenwood Men's Basketball won their third straight game and started off OVC play 1-0 with an 82-74 road win at Eastern Illinois on Saturday night. Sophomore Guard
Jadis Jones led all scorers with a game-high 23 points on 9-12 shooting and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Dontrez Williams also had an impactful performance as he scored 18 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists in the victory over the Panthers.
Anias Futrell and
Milos Nenadic scored in double figures as well on Saturday night with Futrell scoring 15 points and Nenadic scoring 11. Lindenwood has five players who are averaging 10 or more points per game which is the most by any team in the OVC so far this season.
The Lions have won back-to-back true road games for the first time in the Division I era and have tied their longest winning streak in the Division I era with three. The Lions 5-4 record also marks the first time that the team has been over .500 in the Division I era.
Lindenwood will now shift their focus to Culver Stockton as they host the Wildcats tomorrow night in Hyland Arena at 6 p.m.

Culver Stockton is 3-9 on the 2025-26 season with wins over UHSP (twice) and Harris Stowe. The Wildcats are averaging just over 75 points per game and are led by Redshirt-Freshman Guard Travis Green III who has two 30+ point games already this season. Green leads the team in field goal percentage with 54.8% and points per game at 14.3.
Lindenwood leads the all-time series over the Wildcats 9-0 with their most recent matchup coming back on December 20, 2019. The Lions defeated Culver Stockton 98-70 in St. Charles and are currently 6-0 all-time at home against the Wildcats.
