The Lindenwood men's hockey team (8-22-2) fell 1-0 in the season finale at Alaska Anchorage (6-23-5) on Saturday night.
GAME OVERVIEW

The Lions killed off a pair of powerplays before the midway point of the middle frame with the help of some big saves from

David Gagnon to keep them in front. The Lions got another opportunity on the powerplay late in the period, but it would be UAA who had the better chances. Bartoszkiewicz made a couple huge saves to keep the score at 1-0 heading to the third.
Lindenwood made a push in the third period, getting nine of the first 12 shots on goal during the final frame. However, the Seawolves remained in front with just under five minutes to go.
Artyom Borshyov had a great chance late but was stopped on a breakaway by the UAA netminder. The Lions were unable to find the back of the net with the goalie pulled and fell 1-0.
