On Friday, four former Lindenwood football student-athletes will represent the Lions at the Pro Day in Columbia, Mo. Gareth Warren, Cameron Cooper, Vincent King, and Cortezz Jones are set to compete in the day's events in front of scouts.

"Our program couldn't be more proud of these guys for the opportunity they have in front of them," said head coach Jed Stugart. "Each one has represented our university and program in amazing ways and their hard work has placed them with a shot at their dream to continue to play this game they love.  It also says, make it big time where you're at, and you'll get the opportunity."

Warren and Cooper started all 12 games on the offensive line at left tackle and right guard respectively. Warren has been a mainstay on the line since he joined the black and gold. He earned recognition from the Shrine Bowl and Reese's Senior bowl prior to the 2024 season. Cooper joined the Lions from Colorado State before the year and bolstered the offensive line this season, which was a big help to a running game that led the Big South-OVC with 173.7 yards per game.

King made an instant impact on the defense after coming over from Northern Colorado. The Denver, Colo. native made 106 stops, which led the team and ranked second in the Big South-OVC. King made 10 or more tackles in six games, including a season-high 17 against Missouri State, which culminated in a Defensive Player of the Week honor. 64 of those stops were solo tackles, the sixth-most in FCS.

Jones rushed the ball for 112 times for 552 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. During the 2024 season, Jones had two games with over 100 yards, including a season-high 152 with two touchdowns against St. Thomas on September 21.
